TATIANA UETP
University-Enterprise Training Partnerships (UETP) within the COMETT framework can be defined as networks of cooperation between institutions, with the principle objective of developing highly qualified human resources which will ultimately assist in improving European Industrial competitiveness.
With the help of this programme, in 1991, the idea was raised to create a sectoral UETP which would act as a Management Company for these activities within the field of Image Analysis: Transnational Association for Training in Image ANAlysis (TATIANA). The general objective of this organisation was the establishment of a solid Network of cooperation between Universities, Companies and Organisations specialising in advanced technology, collaborating together in order to promote training in the fields of Image Analysis, Cytometry and Analytical Cytology.
CD ROM Vol 2 was produced by staff at the Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories
and distributed free of charge as an educational service to the cytometry community.
