R-Aminopeptidase B

Arg-Rho110 is a preferential substrate of aminopeptidase B. The aminopeptidases are a group of enzymes which hydrolyze peptide bonds near the N-terminus of polypeptides. Aminopeptidase B has been purified from the cytosolic fraction of human liver and skeletal muscle and shown to act on synthetic lysyl- or arginyl-substrates.
