Anti-Mouse CD41

SPECIFICITY

The MWReg30 antibody reacts with glycoprotein IIb or integrin alphaIIb chain (CD41), which complexes with integrin beta3 chain to form the gpIIb/IIIa (CD41/CD61) complex.1 CD41/CD61 is expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes and binds to fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, and thrombospondin.2 The MWReg30 antibody is useful in studies of mouse platelets and megakaryocytes.

USAGE

The antibody has been tested by immunofluorescent staining (lesser than or equal to 1 µg/million cells) with flow cytometric analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Other reported applications include immunoprecipitation1 and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections.3 Since applications vary, each investigator must determine dilutions appropriate for individual use.
