Anti-Human OX40 mAb, clone ACT35

DESCRIPTION

Reacts with a 35 kD polypeptide chain expressed on mitogen stimulated lymphocytes. OX40 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor/nerve growth factor receptor (TNFR/NGFR) family. Analysis of the nucleoside sequence of the human cDNA revealed strong homology with rat OX40 cDNA. OX40 may play a role in T-cell activation as well as regulation of differentiation, proliferation or apoptosis of normal and malignant lymphoid cells. This antibody is suitable for staining formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections with citrate pretreatment.(1-3)

USAGE

This reagent is effective for immunofluorescence staining of human tissue for flow cytometric analysis and fluorescence microscopy, as well as for for staining formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections with citrate pretreatment. Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.
