ANNUAL CLINICAL FLOW CYTOMETRY COURSE

August 17, 1997 - August 19, 1997

The Clinical Cytometry Society sponsors the Annual Clinical Flow Cytometry Course directed by Maryalice Stetler-Stevenson and Ricardo Duque. This course will offer an intensive review of the most common clinical applications of flow cytometry with an emphasis on clinicopathologic correlations. Topics include diagnosis of acute leukemia and lymphoproliferative disorders, stem cell enumeration, minimal residual disease detection, monitoring of immune recovery following bone marrow transplantation, molecular markers of neoplasia and cell cycle evaluation of solid tumors. Course material will be covered in lectures and hands on manipulation of actual patient data. Class size will be kept small to allow close interaction with faculty members for an optimal learning experience.

The course will begin on Sunday night and end Tuesday at noon. For more information contact: Susie Hiott, CAC, P. O. Box 39778, Charleston, SC 29407, Phone (answering machine) 803-795-6228 or FAX 803-795-6228.
