YES, I have had good results using lasers that way round. The deviation of
the chromosome peaks from the diagonal is less pronounced but apart from
that the profiles look almost as good. The only time I used the 458 as the
primary laser was using a FACStar Plus with spacial and temporal separation
of signals.
