Subsets in fatty tissues

I have a researcher who wants to investigate lymphocyte subsets in fatty tissue.
This will be primarily, but not limited to breast tissue. Has anyone isolated
lymphocytes from fatty tissues and if so what methods did you use. What are the
problems and pitfalls in such methods. The investigator is interested in
comparing the phenotype results to peripheral blood.
