Hi Darren,

You might find that they get blown into the void volume of the peristaltic
tubing when they're first put on, try switching to standby when the tube
appears dry, this drops the pressure in the tube and allows the peristaltic
tubing to relax and eject the cells that were forced in, they'll get
diluted a little. Alternatively try removing the outer metal tube from the
sample port (loosen the knurled nut a little and slide the tube off) this
would allow you to rule in/out whether the drop uptake was significant.
