In my lab, frequent use is made of both the volumes of Methods in Cell
Biology dealing with Flow Cytometry (the old Vol. 33 and the new Vols. 41
and 42) and the Handbook of Flow Cytometry Methods; we also expect to get a
lot out of Current Protocols in Cytometry, out soon from Wiley-Liss. Any lab
which spends in the neighborhood of $100,000 for an instrument can afford a
few hundred dollars for good books on methodology, period. Of course, if
you're looking for a more general book on the theory and practice of flow
cytometry...
