Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is an a2b2 heteromultimer with a and b subunits of respectively 55 and 15 kDa.It is expressed intracellularly in the azurophilic granules of neutrophils.It is not expressed in lymphocytes, megakaryocytes and erytrocytes.CLB-MPO-1 monoclonal antibody recognizes MPO and its enzymatically inactive proforma.
